Phytosanitary certificate for agricultural export

Phytosanitary Certificates

A Phytosanitary Certificate is an official document required by importing countries to confirm that agricultural products are free from regulated pests and diseases. These certificates are essential for all international agricultural shipments and are recognized globally.

Why Phytosanitary Certificates Matter

  • Regulatory Requirement: Most countries require phytosanitary certificates for agricultural imports

  • Pest Prevention: Ensures products are free from regulated pests and diseases

  • Import Clearance: Without it, shipments face delays, rejection, or destruction

  • International Trade Standard: Recognized by importing countries worldwide

Our Process

AAI Grains works with the National Agricultural Quarantine Service (NAQS) in Nigeria to obtain phytosanitary certificates for every export shipment. Certificates are issued based on pest surveys, visual inspection, and product sampling.

All certificates are provided with shipping documents and are valid for 14 days from issuance, ensuring timely export clearance.
